Planning permission was granted in Aug 2016 for us to build a two storey treehouse in our ancient woodland.
The site can only be accessed by foot across 2 wildflower meadows, a stream and a woodland track.
Progress has been hampered by the rigours of Building Regs. One last hurdle stands in the way of our treehouse vision…..the requirement to get a fire engine across the meadows, stream and through 100m of ancient woodland to within 46 m of the tree house all on a hard road. Challenging to our concept of a “back to nature” retreat high up in the forest canopy.
